  • al-Tirmidhi

machine translationThis is a good (ḥasan) hadith.

    in جامع الترمذي, p. 3066
  • al-Albani

machine translationIt contains the ʿanʿanah (transmission with "from") of Ibn Isḥāq, which weakens it. However, what Muslim mentioned from Anas, that the Companions disliked that, and what has come regarding the dyeing of grey hair, indicates its soundness in meaning and is a supporting witness (shāhid) for it.

    in صحيح الترمذي, p. 2821
