حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ فَإِنَّهُ نُورُ الْمُسْلِمِ. مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً، وَكَفَّرَ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً، وَرَفَعَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً

✧ Do not pluck grey hairs, for it is the light of a Muslim. Whoever grows a grey hair in Islam, Allah writes for him a good deed, expiates for him a sin, and raises him a degree.
