✧ A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me of a deed that will admit me into Paradise. He said: If you have been brief in the address, you have certainly framed the question broadly! Free the captive and release the neck. He said: O Messenger of Allah, are they not the same? He said: No, freeing the captive is to do it alone, and releasing the neck is to help with its price, and the productive gift, and the return to a wrongdoer who is a relative. He said: What if someone cannot do that? He said: Then feed the hungry and give water to the thirsty. He said: What if I cannot do that? He said: Enjoin good and forbid evil. He said: What if someone cannot do that? He said: Then restrain your tongue except from good.
