حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً، وَلَوْ كَانَ غَيْرِي قَالَ: ثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْسَجَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" مَنْ مَنَحَ مَنِيحَةَ وَرِقٍ - أَوْ قَالَ: وَرِقًا - أَوْ أَهْدَى زُقَاقًا أَوْ سَقَى لَبَنًا كَانَ لَهُ كَعَدْلِ نَسَمَةٍ أَوْ رَقَبَةٍ، وَمَنْ قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ كُنَّ لَهُ عَدْلَ نَسَمَةٍ أَوْ رَقَبَةٍ

✧ Whoever gives a gift of silver, or guides a lost animal, or gives milk to drink, it will be for him like the reward of freeing a captive or a neck. And whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable,' ten times, it will be for him like the reward of freeing a captive or a neck.
