حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، سَمِعَ أَبَا الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، يُحَدِّثُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي أَشْيَاءَ يُؤْجَرُ فِيهَا الرَّجُلُ حَتَّى فِي غِشْيَانِهِ أَهْلَهُ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ وَهِيَ شَهْوَتُهُ يَقْضِيهَا ؟ قَالَ: أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ كَانَ فِي حَرَامٍ أَلَيْسَ كَانَ يُؤْزَرُ ؟ " قَالُوا: بَلَى، قَالَ: " فَكَذَلِكَ يُؤْجَرُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said about things in which a man is rewarded, even in his having intercourse with his wife. It was said: O Messenger of God, how can that be when it is his desire that he fulfills? He said: Do you think that if he had done it unlawfully, he would not be burdened with sin? They said: Yes. He said: Thus, he is rewarded.
