✧ The Description of Paradise and Its People

وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ، قَالَ: نَا يُونُسُ، نَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ؓ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ الْجَنَّةُ، فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَنَاوَلُ مِنْهَا قِطْفًا أُرِيكُمُوهُ، فَحِيلَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِثْلُ مَا فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الْعِنَبِ ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: كَأَعْظَمِ دَلْوٍ فَرَتْ أُمُّكَ قَطُّ

✧ Paradise was displayed to me, and I went to take a bunch from it to show you, but it was kept from me. A man said: O Messenger of God, is it like the grapes in Paradise? He said ﷺ: Like the largest bucket your mother ever filled.
