machine translationYou may also respond to what al-Bayhaqī mentioned by noting that al-Ḥākim included al-Tarjumānī's narrations in his Mustadrak, and that Aḥmad, Ibn Maʿīn, Abū Dāwūd and al-Nasāʾī said, "There is nothing wrong with him." So the narration attributing it to the Prophet (raf') should be accepted from him, because it is an addition from a trustworthy narrator (thiqah).

machine translationThis is an error (khaṭaʾ), meaning the hadith of ʿUbaydullāh from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as attributed to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Mālik narrated it from Nāfiʿ from Ibn ʿUmar as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf), and that is the correct one.
