✧ One day we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we saw him looking distressed. Some of us said, 'O Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be your ransom, why do we see you distressed?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I heard a rumble the like of which I have never heard. Jibril ﷺ came to me, so I asked him about it. He said, "This is a rock that was thrown into the Fire seventy autumns ago, and today it reached its resting place."' Abu Sa'id ؓ said, 'By the One who took the soul of Muhammad, our Prophet ﷺ, we did not see him laugh after that day until we covered him with earth.'
