✧ The name of Ibn Khatal was ʿAbdullāh. He had two slave girls who would sing satires against the Messenger of God ﷺ. So the Messenger of God ﷺ granted safety to all the people except Ibn Khatal, his two singing girls, ʿAbdullāh b. Saʿd b. Abī Sarḥ, and Miqyas b. Ṣubābah al-Laythī. He ﷺ did not grant them safety, so they were all killed except one of the two singing girls, for she embraced Islam.
