Translation
✧ And Abu Ya'la said: Muhammad b. Abdullah b. Numayr narrated to us, Ibn Abi Ubaydah narrated to us with it, and at its end: the madman. Sahih, al-Hakim extracted it from the path of Ibn Numayr with it, and al-Diya chose it, and it has a witness from the hadith of Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As ؓ in al-Bukhari.

machine translationI do not know of anyone who narrates this from al-Aʿmash with this chain other than Abū ʿUbaydah, and from Abū ʿUbaydah his son Muḥammad. Ibn Abī ʿUbaydah has, from his father from al-Aʿmash, strange reports (gharāʾib) and solitary narrations (afrād), and in my view there is nothing wrong with him (lā baʾs bihi).
in المطالب العالية, p. 4635 - Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī
