✧ Suhaib ؓ came as an emigrant to the Prophet ﷺ. A group of Quraysh followed him, so he dismounted from his riding beast, emptied what was in his quiver, then said: "O people of Quraysh, you know that I am one of the best archers among you. By Allah, you will not reach me until I shoot every arrow I have in my quiver, then I will strike with my sword as long as anything remains in my hand — then do whatever you wish. If you wish, I will guide you to my buried treasure in Makkah, and you will let me go." They said: "Yes, we accept." When he arrived in Madinah to the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The deal has profited, Abu Yahya! The deal has profited, Abu Yahya!" He said: And it was revealed: "And of the people is he who sells himself seeking the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is kind to His servants."
