✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I was shown the place of your emigration, a land with date-palms between two lava tracts, either Hajar or Yathrib." He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out to Madinah. Abu Bakr went out with him. I had intended to go out with him, but some young men of Quraysh prevented me. That night, I kept standing and did not sit down. They said: 'Allah has occupied him with his stomach,' and I was not ill. Then they left, and some people caught up with me after I had traveled a barid to bring me back. I said to them: 'Will you accept that I give you a few uqiyyahs of gold and let me go, and keep your word to me?' So I followed them back to Makkah. I said to them: 'Dig under the threshold of the door, for under it are the uqiyyahs. And go to such-and-such a woman and take the two garments.' Then I left until I reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before he left Quba'. When he saw me, he said: 'O Abu Yahya, the transaction has profited,' three times. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, no one preceded me to you, and none told you except Jibril ﷺ.'
