وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا الزِّمَّانِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ هُوَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
« الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى فِيهَا وَأَصْلَحَ فِي ذَلِكَ، وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ كَالْآكِلِ وَلَا يَشْبَعُ، فَبُعْدُ النَّاسِ كَبُعْدِ الْكَوْكَبَيْنِ يَطْلُعُ أَحَدُهُمَا مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالْآخَرُ يَغِيبُ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ

✧ The world is green and sweet, so whoever fears Allah in it and acts righteously therein (will be safe); otherwise he is like one who eats but is never satisfied. The distance between people is like the distance between two stars: one rises in the east and the other sets in the west.
