✧ Go out and announce among the people: Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah, Paradise is guaranteed for him. He (Abu Bakr) ؓ said: So I went out, and Umar b. al-Khattab met me and said, 'What is the matter with you, O Abu Bakr?' I said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me...' and he mentioned it. He said: Then he (Umar) said, 'Go back, for I fear that they will rely upon it.' So I returned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, 'What made you return?' I informed him of Umar's ؓ statement, and he ﷺ said, 'He spoke the truth.'
