✧ The Obligation of Faith

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ بِالرَّقَّةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَكِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ مُعَاذًا لَمَّا حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاةُ قَالَ اكْشِفُوا عَنِّي سِجْفَ الْقُبَّةِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

✧ When death approached Mu'adh, he said: "Uncover the curtain of the tent from me. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah, sincerely from his heart, will enter Paradise.'"
