حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبِي فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَهْ، الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ، أَسَهْوُ أَحَدِنَا فِي صَلَاتِهِ حَدِيثُ نَفْسِهِ ؟ قَالَ سَعْدٌ: أَوَلَيْسَ كُلُّنَا نَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ ؟ وَلَكِنَّ السَّاهِيَ

✧ I asked my father and said: "O father, 'those who are heedless of their prayer'—is it the heedlessness of one of us in his prayer, talking to himself?" Sa'd said: "Do we not all do that? But the heedless one..."
