machine translationIt is narrated from Saʿd as raised (marfūʿ), but the mawqūf is more sound.
machine translationThis is a mistake, and the sound version is mawqūf.
in المعجم الأوسط, p. 2279 - Dāraquṭnī
machine translationʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. ʿIkrimah b. Ibrāhīm narrated it with a connected chain (musnad) from ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr and raised it (marfūʿ) to the Prophet ﷺ, while others narrate it from ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr as a statement stopping at Saʿd (mawqūf), and that is the correct one. Likewise Ṭalḥah b. Muṣarrif, Simāk b. Ḥarb and ʿĀṣim b. Abī al-Najūd narrated it from Muṣʿab b. Saʿd from his father as mawqūf, and that is the correct one.
