✧ Applicability of shares to what is sold for gold or silver

قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، نَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ دُرَيْكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ:

إِنَّ أُنَاسًا يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَسْتَنْزِلُونِي عَنْ دِينِي، وَإِنِّي وَاللهِ لَأَرْجُو أَنْ لَا أَزَالَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ، مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ بِيعَ بِذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ فَفِيهِ خُمُسُ اللهِ وَسِهَامُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

✧ Some people want to make me renounce my religion, and by God, I hope never to cease upon it until I die. There is nothing sold for gold or silver but that in it is the fifth of God and the shares of the Muslims.
