✧ “A man drank wine or cooked grape juice—Hushaym was unsure—so he came to Umar ؓ and said: ‘He drank only what is lawful.’ His words were more severe to him than what he had done, so he consulted about him, and they advised him to strike him eighty lashes, and it became a sunnah after him.”
