✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am ruined.' He ﷺ said: 'What has ruined you?' He said: 'I had intercourse with my wife in Ramadan.' He said: 'A donkey carrying dates was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he ordered that some of it be given to him, saying: 'Take this and give it in charity.' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, there is no household between its two lava tracts poorer than mine.' He said: 'He ﷺ laughed until his molars showed, then said: 'Feed it to your family, and a day in place of a day, and seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty.'
