✧ A funeral of a man from the Anṣār was brought past the Prophet ﷺ, and he was praised with good, so he said: “It has become due.” Then another funeral was brought past him and it was praised with less than that, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “It has become due.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, what has become due?” He ﷺ said: “The angels are the witnesses of Allah in the heaven, and you are the witnesses of Allah on the earth.”
