To give a Bai'a for not to flee during a battle

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ؓ قَالَ
لَمَّا كَانَ زَمَنَ الْحَرَّةِ، أَتَاهُ آتٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ: إِنَّ ابْنَ حَنْظَلَةَ يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ، فَقَالَ: لاَ أُبَايِعُ عَلَى هَذَا أَحَدًا بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ.

When it was the time of al-Harrah, someone came to him and said to him, "Ibn Hanzalah is taking the people's pledge to fight to the death." He said, "I will not pledge anyone to this after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
