✧ I brought you until, when I was within a night or two of Madinah, I cooked for you a dish, and the firewood ran out. So I went out to look for firewood, and I took hold of the pot, and it overturned onto your forearm. Then I arrived in Madinah and brought you to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is Muhammad b. Hatib, and he is the first to be named after you." He wiped your head, prayed for blessing, then spat into your mouth and began to spit on your hand, saying, "Remove the affliction, O Lord of the people; cure, for You are the Healer. There is no cure but Your cure, a cure that leaves no sickness." She said: "I did not get up with you from his presence until your hand was healed." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
