حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا عَفَّانُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
حَدَّثَتْنِي رَبِيبَةُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ زَيْنَبُ وَقُلْتُ لَهَا أَخْبِرِينِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِمَّنْ كَانَ مِنْ مُضَرَ كَانَ؟ قَالَتْ «فَمِمَّنْ كَانَ إِلَّا مِنْ مُضَرَ مِنْ وَلَدِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ»

✧ The stepdaughter of the Prophet ﷺ, Zaynab, narrated to me, and I said to her: "Tell me about the Prophet ﷺ: was he from Mudar?" She said: "From whom else could he be but from Mudar, from the descendants of al-Nadr b. Kinanah?"
