حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ الْمِصْرِيُّ أَنْبَأَ أَبِي وَشُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ قَالَا أَنْبَأَ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَنْبَأَ خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُجْمِرِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي صُهَيْبٌ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولَانِ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ سَكَتَ فَأَكَبَّ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنَّا يَبْكِي حَزِينًا لِيَمِينِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَأْتِي بِالصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ وَيَصُومُ رَمَضَانَ وَيَجْتَنِبُ الْكَبَائِرَ السَّبْعَ إِلَّا فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى أَنَّهَا لَتَصْطَفِقُ» ثُمَّ تَلَا {إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ} [النساء 31]

✧ He heard Abū Hurayrah and Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us while he was on the minbar and said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul," three times, then fell silent. Every man among us bowed his head weeping in grief at the oath of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he said, "There is no servant who performs the five prayers, fasts Ramadan, and avoids the seven major sins except that the gates of Paradise will be opened for him on the Day of Resurrection, so much so that they will clatter." Then he recited {If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will expiate your misdeeds} [al-Nisāʾ 31].
