✧ When revelation descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we would hear near his face a sound like the buzzing of bees. One day revelation descended upon him, and we remained silent for a while. He then faced the qiblah, raised his hands, and said: "O Allah, increase us and do not decrease us; honor us and do not humiliate us; give us and do not deprive us; prefer us and do not prefer others over us; be pleased with us and make us pleased." Then he said: "Ten verses have been revealed to me; whoever upholds them will enter Paradise." Then he recited, 'The believers have certainly succeeded' [Quran 23:1] until he completed ten verses. Abd al-Razzaq and Yunus b. Sulaym said: This was his uncle who was a governor. He said: My uncle sent me to Yunus b. Yazid so that he dictated hadiths to me.
