    " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيَّ إِلَّا صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مَا دَامَ يُصَلِّي عَلَيَّ، فَلْيُقِلَّ الْعَبْدُ أَوْ لِيُكْثِرْ

    ✧ "There is no servant who sends blessings upon me but the angels send blessings upon him as long as he sends blessings upon me, so let the servant do little of that or much."

    أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ فَزَارَةَ جِيءَ بِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَدْ تَزَوَّجَتْ رَجُلًا عَلَى نَعْلَيْنِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَرَضِيتِ مِنْ نَفْسِكِ وَمَالِكِ بِنَعْلَيْنِ ؟ "، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ - فَأَجَازَهُ

    ✧ A woman from Fazara was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and she had married a man for [a dower of] two sandals. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to her: 'Are you content with yourself and your property for two sandals?' She said: 'Yes.' So he approved it.

    مَا أُحْصِي - أَوْ قَالَ: مَا أَكْثَرَ - مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْتَاكُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ

    ✧ I cannot count—or he said: how numerous—how many times I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ using the tooth-stick while he was fasting.

    أَظْلَمَتْ مَرَّةً وَنَحْنُ فِي سَفَرٍ فَاشْتَبَهَتْ عَلَيْنَا الْقِبْلَةُ، فَصَلَّى كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنَّا حِيَالَهُ، فَلَمَّا انْجَلَتْ إِذَا بَعْضُنَا قَدْ صَلَّى لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَبَعْضُنَا قَدْ صَلَّى لِلْقِبْلَةِ، فَذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: مَضَتْ صَلَاتُكُمْ، وَنَزَلَتْ: فَأَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللهِ

    ✧ It became dark once while we were on a journey, and the qiblah was unclear to us, so each man among us prayed in the direction he faced. When it cleared, some of us had prayed away from the qiblah and some had prayed toward it. We mentioned that to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: 'Your prayer has been accepted,' and the verse was revealed: 'Wherever you turn, there is the face of God.'

    كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الطَّوَافِ، فَانْقَطَعَتْ شِسْعُهُ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، نَاوِلْنِي أُصْلِحْهُ ! قَالَ: هَذَا أَثَرَةٌ، وَلَا أُحِبُّ الْأَثَرَةَ

    ✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ during the tawaf, and his sandal strap broke. I said: 'O Messenger of God, hand it to me and I will fix it!' He said: 'This is a privilege, and I do not like privilege.'
