   مَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا، وَالْمَكْرُ وَالْخَدِيعَةُ فِي النَّارِ

   ✧ Whoever cheats us is not one of us, and deceit and treachery are in the Fire.

   فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْمُنْذِرُ وَالْهَادِ: رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ

   ✧ Regarding the saying of Allah, Mighty and Majestic: 'You are only a warner, and for every people there is a guide' (Qur'an 13:7), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The warner and the guide is a man from Banu Hashim.'

   مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَإِذَا شَهِدَ أَمْرًا فَلْيَتَكَلَّمْ فِيهِ بِحَقٍّ أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ

   ✧ Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, if he witnesses a matter, let him speak the truth about it or remain silent.

   جُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ

   ✧ The delight of my eye has been placed in prayer.

   ✧ The injury caused by a beast of burden is without liability.

   أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَأَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَهْلُ الْمُنْكَرِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

   ✧ The people of good in this world are the people of good in the Hereafter, and the people of evil in this world are the people of evil in the Hereafter.

   أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ

   ✧ A man was admonishing his brother about modesty, so the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Leave him, for modesty is part of faith.'

   بُكَاءُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ، وَبُكَاءُ الْمُنَافِقِ مِنْ هَامَتِهِ

   ✧ The weeping of the believer is from his heart, and the weeping of the hypocrite is from his head.

   أَنَّهُ أَتَى عَائِشَةَ، فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَيْهَا، فَكَرِهَتْ أَنْ تَأْذَنَ لَهُ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، جَاءَنِي أَبُو الْقُعَيْسِ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ فَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ آذَنَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لِيَدْخُلْ عَلَيْكِ عَمُّكِ، وَكَانَ أَبُو الْقُعَيْسِ أَخَا ظِئْرِ عَائِشَةَ

   ✧ He came to 'A'ishah and asked permission to enter. She disliked giving him permission. When the Prophet ﷺ arrived, she said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Abu al-Qu'ays came to me and asked permission, and I refused to permit him.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Let your paternal uncle enter upon you.' Abu al-Qu'ays was the brother of 'A'ishah's wet nurse.

10. al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 748No grade recorded

    نِعْمَ الْفَتَى خُرَيْمٌ، لَوْ قَصَّ مِنْ شَعَرِهِ، وَرَفَعَ مِنْ إِزَارِهِ، قَالَ خُرَيْمٌ: فَلَمْ يُجَاوِزْ شَعَرِي أُذُنِي، وَلَا إِزَارِي عَقِبِي مُنْذُ قَالَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

    ✧ What an excellent young man Khuraym is, if only he would shorten his hair and raise his lower garment. Khuraym said: 'My hair has not gone past my ears, nor my lower garment past my heels, since the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that.'

11. al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 749No grade recorded

    كَانَ يُصَلِّي فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ، وَيُومِئُ إِيمَاءً، وَيَجْعَلُ سُجُودَهُ أَخْفَضَ مِنْ رُكُوعِهِ

    ✧ He used to pray while traveling on his riding beast, gesturing, and he made his prostration lower than his bowing.

    خُذُوا الْعَطَاءَ مَا دَامَ عَطَاءً، فَإِذَا صَارَ رِشْوَةً عَلَى الدِّينِ، فَلَا تَأْخُذُوهُ وَلَسْتُمْ بِتَارِكِيهِ، يَمْنَعُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَالْحَاجَةَ، أَلَا إِنَّ رَحَى بَنِي مَرَحٍ قَدْ دَارَتْ، وَقَدْ قُتِلَ بَنُو مَرَحٍ، أَلَا إِنَّ رَحَى الْإِسْلَامِ دَائِرَةٌ، فَدُورُوا مَعَ الْكِتَابِ حَيْثُ دَارَ، أَلَا إِنَّ الْكِتَابَ وَالسُّلْطَانَ سَيَفْتَرِقَانِ فَلَا تُفَارِقُوا الْكِتَابَ، أَلَا إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَقْضُونَ لَكُمْ، فَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ أَضَلُّوكُمْ وَإِنْ عَصَيْتُمُوهُمْ قَتَلُوكُمْ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَكَيْفَ نَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَ: كَمَا صَنَعَ أَصْحَابُ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ، نُشِرُوا بِالْمَنَاشِيرِ، وَحُمِلُوا عَلَى الْخَشَبِ، مَوْتٌ فِي طَاعَةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ حَيَاةٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

    ✧ Take the gift as long as it is a gift. When it becomes a bribe for the religion, then do not take it, and you will not abandon it; poverty and need prevent you. Indeed, the mill of Banu Maraḥ has turned, and Banu Maraḥ have been killed. Indeed, the mill of Islam is turning, so turn with the Book wherever it turns. Indeed, the Book and the authority will separate, so do not part with the Book. Indeed, there will be rulers who judge for you. If you obey them, they will lead you astray; and if you disobey them, they will kill you.' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what should we do?' He said: 'As the companions of 'Isa b. Maryam did: they were sawn with saws and carried on wood. Death in obedience is better than life in disobedience to Allah, Mighty and Majestic.'

    الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ

    ✧ The imam is a guarantor, and the mu'adhdhin is entrusted. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the mu'adhdhins.
