حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

نِعْمَ الْفَتَى خُرَيْمٌ، لَوْ قَصَّ مِنْ شَعَرِهِ، وَرَفَعَ مِنْ إِزَارِهِ، قَالَ خُرَيْمٌ: فَلَمْ يُجَاوِزْ شَعَرِي أُذُنِي، وَلَا إِزَارِي عَقِبِي مُنْذُ قَالَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

✧ What an excellent young man Khuraym is, if only he would shorten his hair and raise his lower garment. Khuraym said: 'My hair has not gone past my ears, nor my lower garment past my heels, since the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that.'
