   أَنَّ شَيْخًا هَرِمًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، عَلِّمْنِي عَمَلًا أَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ إِلَى رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، قَالَ: عَلَيْكَ بِالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، قَالَ: لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ ذَلِكَ، كَبِرْتُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، وَضَعُفْتُ قَالَ: " فَكُنْ مُؤَذِّنًا

   ✧ An old man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of God, teach me a deed by which I may draw near to my Lord, Mighty and Majestic. He said: You must strive in the way of God. He said: I am not able to do that; I have become too old and weak for it. He said: Then be a muezzin.

   إِذَا أُذِّنَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ أَمَّنَهَا اللهُ مِنْ عَذَابِهِ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ

   ✧ When the call to prayer is given in a village, Allah secures it from His punishment on that day.

   يُجَاءُ بِالْمَوْتِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُوقَفُ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، فَيُنَادِي مُنَادِي: يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيَطَّلِعُونَ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ: أَتَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ: يَا رَبَّنَا، هَذَا الْمَوْتُ، فَيُذْبَحُ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، وَيُقَالُ لَهُمْ: خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ

   ✧ Death will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and made to stand between Paradise and Hell. Then a caller will call out: 'O people of Paradise!' They will look up, and it will be said to them: 'Do you recognize this?' They will say: 'O our Lord, this is death.' It will then be slaughtered between Paradise and Hell, and it will be said to them: 'Eternal life, no death.'

   خَيْرُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بَعْدَ نَبِيِّهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ

   ✧ I undertook a guarantee for a fine.

   مَا تَرَكْتُ بَعْدِي فِتْنَةً أَضَرَّ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ عَلَى الرِّجَالِ

   ✧ I have not left after me any trial more harmful to men than women.

   لَا طَلَاقَ إِلَّا بَعْدَ نِكَاحٍ

   ✧ There is no divorce except after marriage.

   كَانَ يَقُولُ: " أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ

   ✧ He used to say: 'I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in Your mercy from Your torment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count praise of You; You are as You have praised Yourself.'

   الْقُرْآنُ كَلَامُ اللهِ غَيْرُ مَخْلُوقٍ، مَنْ قَالَ: الْقُرْآنُ مَخْلُوقٌ فَهُوَ كَافِرٌ

   ✧ The Quran is the speech of Allah, not created. Whoever says the Quran is created is a disbeliever.
