   " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ يَقْسِمُ لَحْمًا، وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ غُلَامٌ أَحْمِلُ عُضْوَ الْبَعِيرِ قَالَ: فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ بَدَوِيَّةٌ، فَلَمَّا دَنَتْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بَسَطَ لَهَا رِدَاءَهُ فَجَلَسَتْ عَلَيْهِ، فَسَأَلْتُ: مَنْ هَذِهِ ؟ قَالُوا: أُمُّهُ الَّتِي أَرْضَعَتْهُ

   ✧ The Prophet ﷺ was at al-Ji'ranah distributing meat, and I was then a boy carrying the limb of a camel. A Bedouin woman approached, and when she drew near to the Prophet ﷺ, he spread his cloak for her, and she sat on it. I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "His mother who nursed him."

   أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَمَلَ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ

   ✧ The Prophet ﷺ walked briskly (ramal) from the Black Stone to the Black Stone.

   لَمَّا فَتَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَكَّةَ بَعَثَ خَالِدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ إِلَى نَخْلَةَ، وَكَانَتْ بِهَا الْعُزَّى، فَأَتَاهَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، وَكَانَتْ عَلَى تِلَالِ السَّمُرَاتِ، فَقَطَعَ السَّمُرَاتِ، وَهَدَمَ الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهَا، ثُمَّ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَقَالَ: ارْجِعْ فَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تَصْنَعْ شَيْئًا، فَرَجَعَ خَالِدٌ، فَلَمَّا نَظَرَتْ إِلَيْهِ السَّدَنَةُ وَهُمْ حُجَّابُهَا أَمْعَنُوا فِي الْجَبَلِ، وَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ: يَا عُزَّى خَبِّلِيهِ، يَا عُزَّى عَوِّرِيهِ، وَإِلَّا فَمُوتِي بِرَغْمٍ، قَالَ: فَأَتَاهَا خَالِدٌ، فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ عُرْيَانَةٌ نَاشِرَةٌ شَعَرَهَا تَحْثُو التُّرَابَ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا، فَعَمَّمَهَا بِالسَّيْفِ حَتَّى قَتَلَهَا، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ: تِلْكَ الْعُزَّى

   ✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Makkah, he sent Khalid b. al-Walid to Nakhlah, where al-Uzza was. It was upon three acacia trees, so Khalid b. al-Walid came to it, cut down the acacia trees, and demolished the house that was over it. Then he came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He said: 'Go back, for you have not done anything.' So Khalid returned. When the custodians, its keepers, saw him, they fled into the mountain, saying: 'O Uzza, confound him! O Uzza, blind him! Or else die in spite.' He said: Khalid came to it, and there was a naked woman with disheveled hair throwing dust on her head. He struck her with the sword until he killed her. Then he returned to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He said: 'That was al-Uzza.'

   " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ يَسْتَلِمُ الْحَجَرَ بِمِحْجَنٍ مَعَهُ

   ✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ circumambulating the House on his she-camel, touching the Black Stone with a hooked staff he had with him.

5. Musnad Abi Ya'la 904No grade recorded

   " بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَنْزِعُ اللَّيْلَةَ إِذْ وَرَدَتْ عَلَيَّ غَنَمٌ سُودٌ، وَغَنَمٌ عُفْرٌ، فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَنَزَعَ ذَنُوبًا أَوْ ذَنُوبَيْنِ فِيهِمَا ضَعْفٌ، وَاللهُ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ عُمَرُ فَاسْتَحَالَتْ غَرْبًا فَمَلَأَ الْحِيَاضَ، وَأَرْوَى الْوَارِدَةَ، فَلَمْ أَرَ عَبْقَرِيًّا مِنَ النَّاسِ أَحْسَنَ نَزْعًا مِنْهُ، فَأَوَّلْتُ أَنَّ الْغَنَمَ السُّودَ الْعَرَبُ، وَالْعُفْرَ الْعَجَمُ

   ✧ While I was drawing water that night, some black sheep and some light-colored sheep came to me. Abu Bakr came and drew one or two buckets, and there was weakness in them, and Allah forgives him. Then Umar came and it became a large bucket, and he filled the troughs and satisfied the thirsty. I did not see any genius among men better at drawing than him. I interpreted that the black sheep were the Arabs and the light-colored sheep were the non-Arabs.
