وَقَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْكِلاَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ غَنْمٍ الأَشْعَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَامِرٍ أَوْ أَبُو مَالِكٍ الأَشْعَرِيُّ وَاللَّهِ مَا كَذَبَنِي سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
«لَيَكُونَنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَقْوَامٌ يَسْتَحِلُّونَ الْحِرَ وَالْحَرِيرَ وَالْخَمْرَ وَالْمَعَازِفَ،» «وَلَيَنْزِلَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ إِلَى جَنْبِ عَلَمٍ، يَرُوحُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِسَارِحَةٍ لَهُمْ، يَأْتِيهِمْ»، يَعْنِي الْفَقِيرَ، «لِحَاجَةٍ، فَيَقُولُوا: ارْجِعْ إِلَيْنَا غَدًا، فَيُبَيِّتُهُمُ اللَّهُ، وَيَضَعُ الْعَلَمَ، وَيَمْسَخُ آخَرِينَ قِرَدَةً وَخَنَازِيرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ».

He heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "There will certainly be people among my nation who will declare unlawful sexual intercourse, silk, wine, and musical instruments lawful." "Some people will settle beside a mountain, and their grazing livestock will be brought back to them in the evening. A man will come to them"—meaning a poor man—"for something he needs, and they will say, 'Come back to us tomorrow.' But Allah will destroy them during the night, bring the mountain down upon them, and transform others into monkeys and pigs until the Day of Resurrection."
