✧ We were discussing the cooked grape juice (al-tila'), and Abd al-Rahman b. Ghanm entered upon us, so we discussed it. He said: Abu Malik al-Ash'ari narrated to me that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "People from my Ummah will drink wine, calling it by other than its name. Musical instruments and female singers will be played on their heads. Allah will cause the earth to swallow them, and He will turn some of them into apes and pigs."
