I have never seen a maker of food like Ṣafiyyah, may God be pleased with her. She sent a vessel containing food to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and I struck it with my hand and broke it. I said: "O Messenger of God, what is the expiation for this?" He said: "A vessel in place of a vessel, and food in place of food."
