حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ عَنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أخْبَرَهُأَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ قُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا جَامَعَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَلَمْ يُمْنِ؟ فَقَالَ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا جَامَعَ امْرَأَتَهُ، وَلَمْ يُمْنِ ؟ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ: [يَتَوَضَّأُ لِلصَّلَاةِ]، وَيَغْسِلُ ذَكَرَهُ. وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ: سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَسَأَلْتُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ، وَطَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، وَأُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ، فَأَمَرُوهُ بِذَلِكَ

✧ He asked Uthman b. Affan, saying: What do you think if a man has intercourse with his wife but does not ejaculate? Uthman said: He performs wudu for the prayer and washes his penis. Uthman said: I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So I asked about that Ali b. Abi Talib, al-Zubayr b. al-Awwam, Talhah b. Ubayd Allah, and Ubayy b. Ka'b, and they commanded him to do that.

    قد تكلم في حديث أبي سلمة للاختلاف عنه فيه لأن ابن شهاب يرويه عن أبي سلمة عن أبي سعيد ويحيى بن أبي كثير يرويه عن أبي سلمة عن عطاء بن يسار عن زيد بن خالد عن عثمان ومن أهل العلم بالحديث من جعلهما حديثين وصححهما وهو الصواب لأن حديث أبي سعيد روي من وجوه عن أبي سعيد فهو غير حديث عثمان بلا شك والله الموفق للصواب

    وهذا خبر عندنا صحيح سنده لا علة فيه توهنه ولا سبب يضعفه لعدالة رواته وقد يجب أن يكون على مذهب الآخرين سقيما غير صحيح لعلتين إحداهما أن المعروف من رواية الثقات عن عثمان أن الختان إذا مس الختان وجب الغسل أنزل أو لم ينزل والأخرى أنه خبر قد رواه بعضهم عن شيبان عن يحيى فجعله عن عطاء عن عثمان لم يجعل بينهما أحدا والثالثة أن يحيى كان عندهم مدلسا والمدلس لا يقبل عندهم من خبره إلا ما قال ثنا وشبهه بكلام لا يجزئ شيئا كما بيناه
