✧ He proposed to a woman in Makkah while he was with the Messenger of God ﷺ, so he said: "If only I had someone who could see her, and tell me about her." A man called Hit said: "I will describe her for you: when she approaches, you would say she walks on six; when she turns away, you would say she walks on four." The Messenger of God ﷺ said to me: "I consider this objectionable; I think he knows about women's affairs." He used to visit Sawdah, so he forbade him from visiting her. When he came to Madinah, he banished him. This remained so until the caliphate of Umar. He struggled, so he allowed him to enter Madinah on Fridays, and he would give him charity.
