✧ He proposed to a woman in Makkah while he was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Would that I had someone who saw her or someone to tell me about her. A effeminate man called Hit said: I can describe her. When she approaches, you would say she walks on four; when she turns away, I said: she walks on eight. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do I not see that this one knows women. He used to enter upon Sawdah, so he forbade her to let him enter upon her. When he came to Madinah, he banished him, and it remained so until the caliphate of 'Umar. He struggled, so he was permitted to enter Madinah and beg every Friday.
