✧ He proposed to a woman in Makkah while he was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "If only I had someone to see her and tell me about her." A man called Hīt said: "I will describe her for you: when she approaches, you would say she walks on six; when she turns away, you would say she walks on four." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: "I consider this man to be objectionable; I think he knows about women." He used to enter upon her — meaning upon Sawdah ؓ. When he came to Madinah, he banished him. This remained so until the time of ʿUmar's rule, and he permitted him to enter Madinah on Friday and beg for charity.
