حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْجُمَحِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُسَيْنِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ أَبَاهَا الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَا مُسْلِمَةٍ تُصِيبُهُ مُصِيبَةٌ، وَإِنْ قَدُمَ عَهْدُهَا، فَيُحْدِثُ لَهَا اسْتِرْجَاعًا إِلَّا أَحْدَثَ اللهُ لَهُ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ وَأَعْطَاهُ ثَوَابَ مَا وَعَدَهُ عَلَيْهَا يَوْمَ أُصِيبَ بِهَا

Translation

✧ There is no Muslim man or woman who is struck by a calamity—even if its time has long passed—and then renews for it an istirja', except that God renews for him at that moment and gives him the reward of what He promised for it on the day he was struck by it.
