حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، بَغْدَادِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:
دَخَلَ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ حِصْنٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَآهُ يُقَبِّلُ الْحَسَنَ، وَالْحُسَيْنَ، فَقَالَ: أَتُقَبِّلُهُمَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ ! قَالَ عُيَيْنَةُ: وَإِنَّ لِي عَشَرَةً فَمَا قَبَّلْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ
Translation

✧ Uyaynah b. Hisn entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and saw him kissing al-Hasan and al-Husayn. He said: Do you kiss them, O Messenger of Allah?! Uyaynah said: I have ten and I have never kissed any of them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.
