حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ الْأَحْوَلُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الرُّكَيْنَ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ

كَانَ يَكْرَهُ عَشْرَ خِلَالٍ: الصُّفْرَةُ - يَعْنِي: الْخَلُوقَ -، وَجَرُّ الْإِزَارِ، وَالتَّخَتُّمُ بِالذَّهَبِ، وَنَتْفُ الشَّيْبِ، وَالضَّرْبُ بِالْكِعَابِ، وَالتَّبَرُّجُ بِالزِّينَةِ بِغَيْرِ مَحَلِّهَا، وَالرُّقَى إِلَّا بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ، وَتَعَلُّقٌ بِالتَّمَائِمِ، وَعَزْلُ الْمَاءِ عِنْدَ أَوَانِهِ عَنْ مَحَلِّهِ، وَفَسَادُ الصَّبِيِّ غَيْرُ مُحَرِّمِهِ

✧ He disliked ten traits: saffron dye—meaning khaluq—, dragging the lower garment, wearing a gold ring, plucking gray hairs, playing with dice, displaying adornment inappropriately, using incantations except with the mu'awwidhat, hanging amulets, withdrawing semen at its time from its place, and corrupting a child without making it unlawful.
