أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرُّكَيْنَ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ
كَانَ يَكْرَهُ عَشَرَةَ خِصَالٍ الصُّفْرَةُ يَعْنِي الْخَلُوقَ وَتَغْيِيرُ الشَّيْبِ وَجَرُّ الْإِزَارِ وَالتَّخَتُّمُ بِالذَّهَبِ وَعَقْدُ التَّمَائِمِ وَالرُّقَى إِلَّا بِالْمُعَوِّذَاتِ وَالضَّرْبُ بِالْكِعَابِ وَالتَّبَرُّجُ بِالزِّينَةِ لِغَيْرِ مَحِلِّهَا وَعَزْلُ الْمَاءِ لِغَيْرِ حِلِّهِ وَفَسَادُ الصَّبِيِّ غَيْرُ مُحَرِّمِهِ

✧ He used to dislike ten traits: yellow dye, meaning perfumed oil; changing grey hair; dragging the lower garment; wearing gold rings; tying amulets; incantations except with the mu'awwidhat (protective chapters); playing with dice; displaying adornment to other than its rightful place; withdrawing water (semen) without its right; and harming a child without making it forbidden.
