✧ A man asked the Messenger of God ﷺ while I was standing behind the door listening. He said, “The prayer may come upon me while I am in a state of major ritual impurity, and I intend to fast.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “The prayer may come upon me while I am in a state of major ritual impurity, and I intend to fast; then I perform the major ablution and fast.” The man said, “I am not like you; God has forgiven you your past and future sins.” The Messenger of God ﷺ said, “Indeed, I hope that I am the most God-fearing of you and the most knowledgeable of you of the limits of God.”
