حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ تُبَالَةَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ الْعَبْشَمِيَّةِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:
كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَنَأْخُذُ قَبْضَةً مِنْ زَبِيبٍ أَوْ قَبْضَةً مِنْ تَمْرٍ فَنَطْرَحُهَا فِي السِّقَاءِ، ثُمَّ نَصُبُّ عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ لَيْلًا فَيَشْرَبُهُ نَهَارًا، أَوْ نَهَارًا فَيَشْرَبُهُ لَيْلًا
Translation

✧ It used to be steeped for the Prophet ﷺ in a water-skin; we would take a handful of raisins or a handful of dates and throw it into the skin, then pour water over it at night and he would drink it during the day, or during the day and he would drink it at night.
