حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ، وَعَنِ الْغُلَامِ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ، وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يُفِيقَ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Shaybān b. Farrūkh
  2. Ḥammād b. Salamah

  4. Ibrāhīm
  5. al-Aswad
  6. ʿĀʾishah
  7. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The pen is lifted from three: from the sleeper until he wakes, from the boy until he has a wet dream, and from the insane until he regains his senses.
