أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُبَيْدٌ عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا وَلْتَزِدْكُمْ زِيَارَتُهَا خَيْرًا وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا مَا شِئْتُمْ وَنَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ فِي الْأَوْعِيَةِ فَاشْرَبُوا فِي أَيِّ وِعَاءٍ شِئْتُمْ وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I had forbidden you three things: visiting graves, so visit them, and let visiting them increase you in good; (eating) the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, so eat of it as you wish; and drinks in certain vessels, so drink in any vessel you wish, but do not drink any intoxicant.”
