حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، عَنْ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِ ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ أَمِنَهُ جَارُهُ وَلَا يَخَافُ بَوَائِقَهُ، وَالْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked about the believer. He said: The one whose neighbor feels safe from him and does not fear his harmful acts. The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand people are safe.
