وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ، فَبَعَثَتْ إِلَيْهِ بِقَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا طَعَامٌ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَتِ الَّتِي فِي بَيْتِهَا ضَرَبَتْ يَدَ الْخَادِمِ فَوَقَعَتِ الْقَصْعَةُ فَانْكَسَرَتْ، فَأَخَذَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَجَعَلَ يُعِيدُ الطَّعَامَ فِيهَا وَيَقُولُ: غَارَتْ أُمُّكُمْ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ بِقَصْعَتِهَا أَخَذَهَا فَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَى الَّتِي كُسِرَتْ قَصْعَتُهَا

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Anas

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was with one of his wives, and she sent him a bowl containing food. When the one in whose house he was came, she struck the servant's hand, and the bowl fell and broke. The Prophet ﷺ took it and began putting the food back into it, saying: Your mother has become jealous. When she brought her bowl, he took it and sent it to the one whose bowl had been broken.
