حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، قَالَ:
سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ، فَلَمْ يَقُلْ فِيهِ حَلَالًا وَلَا حَرَامًا، قَالَ: قَدِ احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، حَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ، فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعَيْنِ مِنْ طَعَامٍ، وَكَلَّمَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ - يَعْنِي أَهْلَهُ - فَخَفَّفُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ غَلَّتِهِ، أَوْ مِنْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ، وَقَالَ: خَيْرُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ وَالْقُسْطُ الْبَحْرِيُّ، وَلَا تُعَذِّبُوا صِبْيَانَكُمْ بِالْغَمْزِ
Translation

✧ Anas was asked about the earnings of a cupper, and he did not say it was lawful or unlawful. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had cupping done; Abu Tayba cupped him, and he ordered that he be given two sa's of food. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to his family, meaning that they reduce his kharaj or his tax. And he said: The best with which you treat yourselves is cupping and costus marinus, and do not torment your children by pressing the uvula.
