✧ I entered upon the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he called the cupper. He brought him horns and attached them to him—Affan said once: a horn—then he cut him with a blade. A bedouin from Banu Fazarah, one of Banu Jadhimah, entered. When he saw him being cupped, and he had no familiarity with cupping and did not know it, he said: 'What is this, O Messenger of God? Why do you let this one cut your skin?' He said: 'This is cupping (hajm).' He said: 'What is cupping?' He said: 'It is among the best things with which people treat themselves.'
